When is a topographic survey necessary?

A topographic plan is a mandatory prerequisite to:

• Start designing: Before designing any new building, extension, or engineering structure.
• Obtain a building permit: The plan must be submitted to the building authority along with the construction project.
• Connect utilities: For the installation of gas, electricity, water supply, sewerage, and other networks.
• Carry out landscaping: For landscape design, roads, squares, or pedestrian paths.
• Divide or merge properties.

1. Consultation and order: You contact us (via email or phone), submitting information about the object. We prepare and send you a price and deadline offer.
2. Field work: After concluding the contract, our surveyors arrive at the site and perform the necessary measurements in nature, recording the relief, situational elements, and visible utilities.
3. Data processing (office work): The data obtained during field work is processed in the office, and a digital topographic plan is developed.
4. Utility coordination: We electronically coordinate the prepared plan with all utility holders (e.g., “Sadales tīkls”, “Gaso”, local water management, etc.).
5. Registration and delivery: After receiving all approvals, the plan is registered in the State Land Service (SLS) topographic information database and delivered to you in digital format (.dwg, .pdf).
